FAQs
There is a Cabin Coffee Shop (named Go-Go Espresso) onsite, and check-in is processed here. Upon arrival, you can call (406) 640-0649 or make prior arrangements by email at 9barwcabins@gmail.com.
When you arrive at your cabin you will find bar soap, shampoo, make-up removal wipes, a local town map, toilet paper, trash bags, and paper towels (in designated cabins). Once provided items are depleted, you are responsible for purchasing additional supplies. All bed linens, blankets, towels, kitchenware, and utensils are inventoried upon check-out. Registered guests will be charged for any missing or damaged items.
We have engineered a Fiberoptic Wi-Fi Network accessible to every corner of our property — remarkable for a rural mountain community like West Yellowstone. You will be given a Wi-Fi access code upon check-in so you can stay connected while surrounded by nature.
Your cabin was thoroughly cleaned and inspected prior to your arrival. Please call our office immediately to report any housekeeping issues — we will correct the problem as soon as possible.
An extra cleaning fee of $50 per hour may be automatically charged to the card on file if the property is left in a condition requiring extra cleaning or deodorizing beyond industry norms, at our discretion.
4-person Cottage Cabins are limited to microwave cooking or adding hot water. Hot plate use is strictly prohibited indoors. BBQ Grills are available in the common area. An extra cleaning fee may apply for violations of the cooking policy.
All cabin rentals are strictly non-smoking. No cigarettes, e-cigarettes, pipes, incense, or any electronic smoking device is permitted indoors. A $250 cleaning fee will be automatically charged if smoke or vapor is detected. Smoking in an open doorway is considered smoking indoors. Please use the appropriate outdoor receptacle when smoking outside.
Pets are not allowed in any cabin rental. Violations will result in a $250 cleaning fee, immediate cancellation of the remainder of the reservation with no refund, plus any additional sanitization costs.
A lockbox/keypad option is available for your convenience. The key must be returned to the box immediately after each use. A lost or misplaced key will incur a minimum charge of $75 for re-keying. If maintenance arrives and no key is in the lockbox, a $75 trip fee will be charged to the card on file.
As with any home, components may occasionally break or malfunction. Our maintenance staff is here to assist with timely service. Please note that emergencies take precedence. Report all maintenance items immediately by calling (406) 640-0649.
Jetted tubs are cleaned between each guest stay. A mid-stay cleaning can be arranged for a $50 fee. Items such as soaps, bath products, food, or alcohol found in the tub will result in a $150 charge. Any damage will incur a $400 surcharge plus all repair costs. Use all jetted tubs with extreme caution and at your own risk.
Flooring near water sources — including bathtubs, showers, sinks, and jetted tubs — may become slippery when wet or damp. All guests assume the risk of injury when entering these areas and agree to hold the owner and agents harmless.
As a small, seasonal property, we currently do not have cabins available for service animals. This policy is non-negotiable. Any service animal brought into a cabin rental will result in a minimum $250 surcharge plus all associated sanitization costs.
Roads in our area are curvy and steep. In late fall, winter, and early spring, hazardous conditions are possible. We strongly recommend all-wheel or four-wheel drive and/or chains during these seasons. We do not refund for road conditions, cannot provide transportation, and are not responsible for towing charges. If weather prevents departure on your check-out day, additional nights will be charged if occupancy permits.
Check-out is promptly at 10:00 AM MST. Late check-outs are charged $40/hour billed in 15-minute increments. There are no refunds for early departure. Before vacating, please complete the following:
- Place all dirty dishes in the dishwasher and run the cleaning cycle, or wash by hand.
- Place all used towels, hand towels, and washcloths in the main floor bathroom shower/tub.
- Dispose of all food and drinks from cabinets and the refrigerator.
- Gather all garbage and place in the designated area for pick-up.
- Secure the cabin by locking all doors.
- If the cabin has a lock-box, ensure the key is secured inside before departing.
- Return all keys to the office unless other arrangements have been made.
We make every effort to locate and return lost items, but cannot be responsible for items we don't find. Call us to alert housekeeping of the missing item. If found, it will be shipped to you at your expense. Unclaimed items are donated to local charities after 30 days.
No cabin rentals are equipped with landline telephones. Please use your mobile device or contact us via the phone numbers and email provided at check-in.
Guests found hosting a party will be asked to vacate with no refund issued. Please be mindful of your neighbors. Quiet hours are 10 PM – 6 AM, in accordance with the West Yellowstone noise ordinance.
We have numerous security video cameras recording the property's operations 24/7/365. We encourage all guests to lock vehicles and cabin doors when away. Staff is onsite around the clock.
